The davit launched liferaft is an inflatable type liferaft installed on vessels and platforms and launched using davits mounted on the deck. The crew can board the davit launch Liferaft from the deck and then lower it down to water. In case of any davit malfunction, the davit launch Liferaft can be activated like the throw overboard rafts. It is widely used in passenger ships and cargo vessels. It is equipped with a free fall device for lowering. The typical height of installation is 18 – 35 m. Capacities range from 15 – 25 persons.
