These lifebuoy lights are Intrinsically Safe (ATEX Certified) which can be installed on lifebuoys. The light is SOLAS/MED approved and also certified for ATEX & IEC Ex rated at “II 1G Ex ia op is IIC T4 Ga”, which means suitable for hazardous atmosphere Zones 0*,1 &2. It is also rated at remarkable T4, which makes it safe to be used in hazardous atmosphere with gas have auto ignition temperatures≥135℃. It is a suitable lifesaving device for hazardous marine activity applications such as offshore drill platform, oil tanks etc. The light was designed with gravity sensor and water sensors double activation system. Once the lifebuoy light is thrown into water with lifebuoy, the head of LED lamp will automatically upwards owing to the gravity design, and the water sensors will contact water then activate the light immediately. If the head of LED lamp turns downwards or the light leaves from water, the light will automatically turn-off.
