These Lifebuoy lights meets SOLAS / MED requirements and powered by replaceable alkaline batteries designed for man overboard emergency light. Lifebuoy lights are attached to the sides of the lifebuoy ring so that when the lifebuoy ring is thrown overboard the light also goes along with it. The light is activated once in contact with water and its inherent design makes it float on water with the LED lamp pointing upwards. The luminous intensity is 2.0cd and duration of at least 24 hours (10hrs at -1℃), and the light can uninterruptedly indicate the position of lifebuoy to increase the success rate of rescue.The light is designed with gravity sensor activation system which automatically turns off the LED if the lamp is facing downwards in water.
